In a classic battle between the two Trenton-based teams, Scott’s Haulage/Diamond Electric Rough Riders defeated the Kiwanis Tiger Cubs 19-18. Cody Luhman had two touchdowns and the critical extra point. Sheamus McNeil had the other major. Riley Carey had two TDs for the Riders, and Ai Wright added the other. Players of the game were Connor McNeil for the Riders, and Hunter Bannon for the Cubs.

The Belleville Club Bears defeated the Trent Hills Titans 31-12. The Bears got their scoring from a variety of players: Dave Taylor, Ben Edwards, Brendan McBride and Kaleb Goodfellow had touchdowns. Edwards added two extra points and a field goal. The Bears’ MVP was Jacob Spencer. Alex Barrett had both majors for the Titans, and was their player of the game.

Hotch’s Auto Parts Razorbacks outdistanced the Bayshore Credit Union Chargers 45-13. Ronehtawaks Lefort Cummings led Hotch’s with five majors. Tim Bonsall added the other four TDs. Jake Walplak scored all of the Bayshore points and was their MVP. Bradley Chapman was the player of the game for Hotch’s.

In Bancroft on Saturday afternoon, the Jan Lumber T Hawks squeaked by the McConnell Centre Hastings Centurions 13-12. Riley Shepherd and Tanner Shatraw had the Majors for the T Hawks. Tyrel Trumble added the crucial convert. Chris Post and Nick Ramsay on a punt return had the touchdowns for the Centurions. Calvin Trumble for the T Hawks, and Ramsay for the Centurions were the players of the game.

Action continues next Saturday at Trenton High School, and at Quinte Secondary School.
