Outstanding High School Athletes

The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame and Belleville McDonald's
Restaurant recognize and honour outstanding high school athletes from Belleville-based school.

This grogram puts a focus on the extensive athletic program offered to an in the high schools of the area. In a secondary school of approximately 1,000 students, 25 per cent, or 250, will participate in one or more interschool activities.

This adds up to over 1,500 student athletes in the participating schools in Belleville. A typical school will run 30-35 different school teams involving 20 to 25 volunteer teacher coaches as well as other volunteers from the community.

The athletes honoured here represent all of those athletes and coaches.

The athletes, coaches and parents thank Belleville McDonald's and The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame for highlighting this extensive program.
