Darren has moved back to Ottawa and is still working for the same engineering firm, McCormick-Rankin Consultants. Shane is in Calgary and finishing his EMT testing before starting with the Calgary Fire Dept. Who’s doing What? Wayne has retired from teaching after 31½ years - Carol has not, yet! Wayne says she needs to work to keep his supply golf balls intact. Dates of Special Upcoming Events? Darren & Tory are engaged to be married on July 27th, 2002 and Shane and Sian are also engaged - that wedding date to be announced later!! Susan is again organizing “the Spring Farm Show” at Landsdowne Park and I am “winding down” at the City of Ottawa and looking forward to retirement (or whatever), beginning January 1, 2002. Susan and I are taking a trip to Louisville, Kentucky with the “Farmers” in February and hopefully somewhere in the Caribbean in late March. We will be travelling home in the summer. Sian ventured to Wales in June and we both took a fabulous trip to Vancouver Island and spent some time in Tofino where we camped on the beach. Who’s Doing What? Shane has one last test to do before he starts training with the Calgary Fire Department. Shane will be working as an EMT, at one of the mountain ski resorts this winter. Sian is working as a consultant in the Oil/Gas Industry and has begun a marketing management certificate at the University of Calgary. Dates of Upcoming Events? Sian & I were engaged on August 8th and we will be getting married in the fall of 2003. We have also decided to build a house, we’ll keep everyone updated!
